Created by Jacqui as a commission by the wonderful childrens author Dame Jacqueline Wilson for the launch of her latest book Sapphire Battersea in September 2011.
The sampler was created to be a naive sampler which could have been stitched by the Victorian character Sapphire Battersea depicting her life and times.
Starting with her life as an orphan the stitching was designed to be made up as if made by a young girl - and is available for free download for a limited time.
The pattern was created to use with our transfer pencils or paper to create your own mini embroidery...
