However, sometimes we are 'left in the lurch' particularly by the yarn houses and dyers who run out of key wool colours for months at a time!

We have tried to keep hold of enough stocks, but with a growing company we are always over reaching our forecasts and this is not always easy to predict.

At the moment Appletons are completely out of our key Ivory Crewel Yarn which has left us in a pickle!  With no date to quote it makes us look a bit 'pants'...  so big apologies from the team.

We are putting plans in place to change this situation, but for now....  SORRY our dispatch dates are much longer than normal.

We are contacting every customer involved, meanwhile if you have any questions, just 'ask us'

Happy New Year! to all our customers..  and for 2012 we have lots of new plans and launches in place.

This includes the rebranding and formatting of all of the sites so please forgive our appearance whilst we make all these exciting changes...  Jacqui is launching 2 books this year, and some of our customers are confused by the name Granny Knits when our main crafts are stitching....  so we have having a name change so 'watch this space'

We are also moving offices to a big studio so that we can finally expand our team.  In the mean time we apologise for any delay in answering your queries as we know we are a little snowed under!

Heres to a year filled with colourful stitching

Issue 243 of Cross Stitcher is out this week and we are thrilled to have our 6th cover this year!  I love the WHISTLE WHILE YOU WORK design – simply because I was working in my new vintage colour palette.. and could not help but “hum a merry tune”

Those of you familiar with most of my work know of my love for rainbow brights – with most of my designs being in 12 key colours.  I do this because I love them – but also it makes it easier on the purse strings of regular customers who only have to invest in one of our key palettes to get started.

The vintage palette will be new for Autumn 2011 – and I hope you like it as much as me, and I think the colours will be a great investment to mix and match in your stash.  I will be sending an update on the blog so be sure to FOLLOW US in our new format on craftychatter.com to get the latest updates
