Our Granny Knits kits are all designed by Jacqui Pearce in house and created in our studio by our small team.  Many hands touch your kit before it reaches you - as we lovingly hand twist every hank and pick and pack every detail.  These are not kits created in a big factory, which enables us to offer the width of designs that we do.

This is a Christmas tree skirt design - filled with nostalgia and colour ... and perfect to use year after year.

We give you plenty of Appleton brothers 100% British Virgin Wool in either 4 ply tapestry wool / or 2 ply crewel wool. Enough to stitch with the recommended stitch technique. Only one strand of wool is needed for tapestry designs and a double fold yarn for the crewel wool.  All wool is supplied in neat twisted hanks, which we hand twist ourselves.  The yarns are bought in raw from the dyers - and sometimes we have to substitute colours due to supply which is out of our control. 

Needles & Threader
Two quality John James tapestry needles - one to use and one to keep! You could always have 2 yarns on the go.  Plus a thick yarn threader for ease of use.

Instructions & Chart
Full instructions are provided including detailed stitch charts and stitching diagrams.

**PLEASE NOTE - The kit is a COUNTED CROSS STITCH chart and is not printed on the canvas.  The kit contains all you need to complete the cross stitch needlepoint piece and NOT the fabrics / frames or trims to finish your piece.  But we do offer all of these items for sale on our site...
