Bring Me Sunshine Cross Stitch Tapestry Kit
This contemporary needlepoint kit, is based on one of our favourite nostalgic catch phrases.. at a super long 90cm it is perfect for a draught excluder, long bed / sofa bolster.. or as a framed piece. The simplicity of the design and use of tapestry yarn on an open 7 hpi canvas, mean this is perfect for beginners to get there teeth into.
Jacqui Used our Large POM POM maker to make up and stitch in the pom poms at the end.
90x26cm finished tapestry size
Each Craft Kit Contains:
- A Printed Canvas Bag to keep your stitching in
- Colour Coded Chart & Stitching Instruction Sheet
- Cotton Canvas - 7hpi (holes per inch)
- 4 Ply Tapestry Appleton Pure English Wools
- Two quality John James Tapestry needles - one to use and one to keep!
- Needle threader
We use quality Zweigart canvas. We think that this is the best quality canvas you can buy. The HPI are the number of holes per inch on a straight line within the canvas - 10hpi is great for beginners, and 14 hpi is great for detail work. 7 hpi is great for kids to start crafting with.
We give you plenty of Appleton brothers 2 ply Crewel Wool or 4 ply Tapestry Wool (depending on the kit). Enough to stitch with the recommended stitch technique. Our wool is 100% British Virgin Wool - and it is the same wool as used by William Morris in his heritage designs, which is bought directly from source and hand twisted into hanks in our Sussex Studio.
Instructions & Chart Full instructions are also provided including detailed stitch charts and stitching diagrams, teaching you the basics of cross stitch techniques. The kit is a COUNTED CROSS STITCH chart and is not printed on the canvas - so each coloured square corresponds to the same colour cross stitch on the canvas. This provides for a more accurate finished stitched piece.
**PLEASE NOTE - The kit contains all you need to complete the cross stitch needlepoint piece and NOT the fabrics / frames or trims to finish your piece. Also whilst normally all the colours are as shown on the chart, sometimes we have to substitute colours due to supply which is out of our control.

Perfect Wedding Memories

We played the Morecombe and Wise track as we walked down the aisle! So this was the perfect first project for me. The packaging and contents were top quality and when I ran out of yarn at the last moment - they sent me some more straight away. Love it
